Wirrawonga have finally settled back into our office at 36 Raymond Street Blackburn after 18 months in a temporary office environment. We have rebuilt the office with a first floor addition featuring a unique acrylic staircase, board room area and acrylic feature balcony. All very nice, so please visit when you can.
The other significant change many of you are aware of is the change in company name fromWirrawonga Pty. Ltd. to Wirrawonga Consulting Pty. Ltd. With this change is a change in bank account details, and small change to logo. Stuart Rooke has accepted a position as Director withWirrawonga Consulting Pty. Ltd. and has taken a more significant and visible leading role in the new company. As far as operation of our company goes, there will be little or no observable change; Joe Kutka and David Plant will continue to sign off the majority of jobs, and our other qualified structural engineers Stephanie and Arosha will continue to do a large proportion of the computation work as well. The structure of how work is undertaken and completed is unchanged and the changeover between WW to WC has been seamless – now in its third month of operation.
Other changes atWirrawonga Consulting P/L include the addition of Barbara Taggert to our staff as a full time Accounts Receivable Officer role; departures include Alyssa Pell’s 12 month overseas trip and our junior drafting person Cameron has returned to university. Michel le Plant, previously involved in accounts receivable, has passed the baton on to Barb also.
